Veneer Hot Press Dryer
The veneer hot press dryer dries veneer in stacked layers between electrically controlled heated platens - a press-type solution that dries and flattens at the same time. Steam or thermal oil heats the platens, and the whole dehumidification process follows preset curves under automatic electrical control, so every batch reaches the same moisture. Multi-daylight designs (for example the HYG48-40 series) process several layers per cycle, which makes this machine productive even though it works in batches. Plants that struggle with warped or blistered veneer from conveyor dryers often switch to press drying for face veneer quality.
